Meet the horses owned by Rising Star Stables!
Eternal Hope (Hope) is a 13 year old 15.2 OTTB chestnut mare. Brooke Burchianti rides her at the Intermediate Level in eventing. Hope is a barn favorite and loves attention from anyone who is willing to give it! She is currently in foal to Zirocco Blue VDL.
Whittier (Whit) is a 19 year old chestnut Hanoverian owned by Karin Burchianti. Brooke has taken him through Second Level Dressage and Colton Burchianti has evented him through the Novice level.
Rafaela, or Raffles, is a 14 year old bay Hanoverian mare. She is currently in foal! She was bred to Sea Lion xx and is due this coming April!
Saleas (Sal) is an 8 year old bay OTTB gelding. Sal begun his eventing career with Westley this past summer after retiring from racing where he had over 40 starts. Sal is also competing at the Beginner Novice level and attended the 2021 RRP with Westley.
Time to Rise (Wyatt) is a chestnut 7 year old Morgan cross pony. Westley evented Wyatt through the Novice level. They recently finished their first Novice 3-Day Event together.
Santinzo (Tinzie) is a 7 year old OTTB chestnut mare. Brooke just moved Tinzie up to the Training level this past spring. She also attended the Retired Racehorse Project in 2018.
Cooley Space Grey (Astro) is an 8 year old grey KWPN gelding ridden by Brooke Burchianti. Astro recently completed his first CCI 2*-S at the Virginia Horse Trials where he placed 5th in a competitive division.
Summer Fantasy (Summer) is a 5 year old bay OTTB mare. She just came to us last winter. In less than a year of training Summer has begun eventing successfully at the Beginner Novice level and even placed in the top 1/4 at RRP this fall.
Ballaghmore Castle C (Chris) is a bay 13 year old Irish Sport Horse gelding. Colton Burchianti events Chris at the Novice level. They also went to the USPC Championships in show jumping this past summer together.
Make Me a Deal (Paddy) is an 11 year old bay TB. Westley has just started his relationship with Paddy and plans to start his recognized eventing career next spring!
Rooster and Beanie are our newest members of the family. Both are 3 year old. Beanie is a Hanoverian and Brooke will be starting his eventing career next spring. Rooster is a German Riding Pony and Karin will be showing him in the dressage ring next spring!
